I recently downloaded Mozilla Firefox 7 on my desktop computer. I have heard from a friend that Mozilla is way better than Internet Explorer. Now my problem would be, how do I transfer my Internet Explorer bookmarks to this new Mozilla firefox 7 browser? Can anybody show me the steps to it? Thanks!

Hi Sommers,

Firefox has got good features for importing your preferences from another web browsers such as IE. You need to follow the following four simple steps.

1. Launch your firefox and Click the "history" menu in the top of your firefox window and select the "Show All History"

to open the library window.

2. In the library window, click "Import and Backup" and choose "import data from another browser" from the drop down list.

3. An Import wizard will appear and choose "Microsoft Internet Explorer" and click next.

4. Another wizard will appear which allow you to choose the items you want to import, choose favorites at least or all and click Finish.

Hope this helps,

Hello Stephen Sommers,

Select history menu at the top of the Firefox window and select to Show all history followed by clicking Import and Backup then select Import Data from another Browser. Importing Data from another Browser could be disabled if you had set it to private browsing mode so you'll need to restart the process. Click Microsoft Internet Explorer in the window that appears next then click Next. There after, mark the items you want to import and click Next. Click Finish button process is done, and there will the files be imported. After all the process you'll then be able to see Bookmarks menu which were imported Internet Explorer.
