Hello experts!  I want to trace some Luns to its corresponding disk in my operating system so I can delete them.  I cannot seem to find these luns and trace them to the OS.  How can I do this?

Hallo Amanda Mcpherson,

Before you delete the LUN you have to know that the data volumes associated with the LUN will be deleted and the operation is not reversible. So make sure that you have shut down all applications that access the LUN before you completely delete it.

Use the following procedure to delete the LUN

  1. Locate the LUN's console tree, and then click LUN Management.

  2. A results pane will appear, in it select the LUN you want to delete.

  3. In the next window that will open which is the Actions pane, click on Delete LUN.

  4. And then select the option that says  "Check here if you want to delete this LUN", and then click OK to delete it.

Hope this helps.
