TPU bench and 3dmark 2006

 Hello friends,

I have recently installed the latest version of TPUBench to automate my benchmarking process along with the latest version of the plug-in. Someone told me that it fully supports the 3dmark 2006 ver1.1 benchmark but it is not working with it.

It allows the 3dmark 2006 benchmark to start and the screen starts to flash but unfortunately it does not select any game which results in the following error:

3DMark06

3DMARK06
No tests selected

        OK

I don’t know how to resolve this issue. My operating system is windows XP sp2. I also uninstalled the application and then reinstalled it again but all in vain.

Your views and suggestions will be very helpful for me in resolving my problem.

Looking forward to your views

Regards

Peter

I think there is something wrong with the way you use it or maybe you just missed it or totally forgot about it. By looking at the screenshot you posted, under Tests column, it clearly shows that you did not select a single test option in the available test categories.

Maybe you just select the game to benchmark and totally forgot about selecting which test to run under the Tests column. The benchmarking application can’t run without selecting a specific test to do.

It’s like running a NULL operation or procedure. Try it again by selecting the desired game by clicking the Game button then choosing which test or tests to run by clicking the Select button under Tests column.

Hit the Run 3DMark button afterwards then wait for it to finish then check the results.

If you still receive the same error as before even after selecting the tests to run, try doing a clean installation of the program. Uninstall 3DMark 2006 then restart your machine.

After booting, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. Install the application again then see if you are now able to use it.
