I have a question about Toshiba market place remove tool. I had to swap out my original Toshiba thrive at Best Buy under their 14 day return policy as I could get no sound out speakers, confirmed by a Toshiba Technician. The problem is I have two Toshiba Thrive's listed in the market place. I cannot figure out how to remove the returned tablet from the list.

In order for the returned equipment to be removed from the Market Place listing, the Market Place on the returned equipment must have its application data cleared. Aside from that, the application cache must also be removed. This can be done by accessing the Application information on the returned equipment, and then selecting Clear Data, and Clear Settings. However, to do all of this, you must have access to the returned equipment as well.

Best Buy does a factory reset to most, if not all, of the returned equipment upon reconditioning it, so this should not be a problem. Once they do that, the application data will also be reset, removing the returned Toshiba from the listing in the Market Place. If the returned equipment has been sent back to the manufacturer, it's only going to be a matter of time before they do a factory reset to it.
