I got this new Tomtom Device. I encountered this error message that says “HOMERuntime.exe failed with error 0: Process failed to start up correctly. If this problem persists, please reinstall from:http://www.tomtom.com/home”.

Will I still be able to use my device? What seems to be the problem with this?

Hello Thomas,

You will need to uninstall the TomTom Device completely and then install a fresh copy. If you encounter problems during uninstallation, download Revo Uninstaller from the following link and use it to uninstall the device:

After that get a fresh copy of TomTom from the following link and install it:

http://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7448/kw/tomtom%20home
