Ticker system on facebook and reverting updates

You cannot monitor about the changes Facebook is making. But whenever there is any change Facebook first time shows you how to use that or what is changed. You can remember those things to know about what is changed. Also, whenever there is any change in the Facebook it is obvious that in internet some news blog will discuss about that. Soif you search in the Inter you will get the information about recent changes in Facebook.

 

Facebook first research on the changes and when they think this change will be good at that time they make it as optional. They offer it to the user to implement the changes. But you can ignore at that time. Next when many user provide feedback about the changes and they good with the changes then Facebook decide to implement the changes for all user. After this is implemented for all the users you can not go back to the earlier version.

 

You have mentioned that your ticker is disappeared. But this change is not made by Facebook. May be you have hided the ticker. To unhide the ticker click on the show ticker option. See the below picture to get the show ticker option. Also may be your ticker is so small that you cannot see it. To make it larger close the chat window and click on the sidebar and drag it to extend.
