Hello Bryan,

To export Blackberry bookmarks first install the latest version of Desktop Manager (Version 4.2 Service Pack 1). Then you have to use the Switch Device Wizard to export all your Bookmarks. From Switch Device Wizard you can transfer Bookmarks, Personal Settings, and everything except third party applications.

Hello Bryan,

It would help if you had given the model of your blackberry. However, you can follow the following steps to solve your problem:

i) You can just mail the links to another device.

ii) Otherwise you have to install the latest version of desktop manager (v 4.2, service pack 1, you will find it easily in various websites).

Then switch device wizard, find backup/restore to export all your bookmarks. By this you can transfer bookmarks, personal settings etc.

There are 2 common reasons for exporting bookmarks:

1) Backup.

2) Import to another browser to access these bookmarks on another device or browser.

There are 2 ways to export bookmarks on a Blackberry:

1. BLACKBERRY DESKTOP MANAGER.

  • Get the latest version of this software for PC (Desktop Manager ver 7.1) and Mac Desktop here.
  • Install the latest software, connect your blackberry mobile and create a backup.

2. BLACKBERRY PROTECT.

  • Install BB Protect uses App World.
  • Login with your Blackberry ID.
  • You will have the option to choose which data you would want to backup.

To restore the data in another Blackberry mobile device, it should have Blackberry Protect and login using the same BB ID you used and bookmarks will be transferred to the other phone.

Note: Blackberry Protect is only available for Blackberry OS6-7.1
