Dear All,

I got an issue with my Internet Explorer browser. Btw, I have an XP machine.

Every time I try to browse, I am seeing this error:

Syntax error Line 2 Char 17340 code 0

I do not know exactly what this means, and I cannot get on to any other websites. In addition, as much as I want to try it on another browser, I only have IE6.

Please help me in resolving this issue.

Thanks.

Hi,

I would recommend that you update the version of the IE to the latest. It would not only get rid of a lot of bugs but also give your better user experience. To do that you can either try updating the OS and the IE using the Automatic Updates which is recommended or you can manually download the latest version of IE from Microsoft website and install.
To download and install using automatic updates you can follow the instructions in the following link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12373/windows-update-faq.
To update to the latest version of Internet Explorer manually, you can download it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/internet-explorer-8-details.aspx
Just follow the instructions that comes up on your screen and install the latest version of Internet Explorer!
Hope this will solve your problem!
