I installed AVG AntiVirus on my computer and I wanted to change to another AntiVirus software. I have tried several times to uninstall AVG AntiVirus but it literally does not uninstall. Nothing is removed and the whole installed application remains listed on the control panel windows and all the software files and folders in drive C remain intact. Is there a special Uninstaller wizard that I can use to accomplish this?

Here are some other methods of uninstalling software’s from a Windows PC.
1. If you are using Windows XP OS, click the START button then click on RUN. A dialog box will open. Input appwiz.cpl extension then the enter key.
If you are using Windows Vista OS, click the START button. You will see a box named start search. Input the appwiz.cpl extension and then the enter key.
Finally if you are using Windows 7 OS, click the START button. You will see a box named SEARCH PROGRAMS AND FILES. Input the appwiz.cpl extension and then the enter key.
2. You will see a full complement of applications on your PC.
3. Do a safe restart.
You may also need to use cleanup utility software to completely uninstall programs from your PC. I'll recommend CCleaner. It is a utility application used for cleaning PCs. It helps eliminate traces of uninstalled applications and online piracy protection and can also act as an uninstaller.
