Hello there.

My Smartphone's performance has been slow lately. Is there a smart phone defrag application that I can use? I have the 32 GB Samsung Galaxy S2 that has the Exynos chipset, 1 GB RAM, Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU, Mali-400MP GPU and Android OS Jelly Bean.

Hi dorindagmincey,

Slow Performance of your Samsung galaxy s2 is depend on how many applications you have installed on your phone. RAM of Samsung galaxy s2 is 1 GB. Original  usable RAM is around 850 MB. Free RAM ( Total RAM – USED RAM = Free RAM ) of your Phone give you the performance of your phone. You can check your phone's free RAM from Task manager.

The another reason of slow performance is the widgets on the Home screen. If you filled Up all the 7 home screen of your S2 then it is also the reason. Each widget on the home screen uses some amount of RAM constantly. You can also check out which widget is using how much RAM by Checking Task manager. There are also Background processes which uses RAM. First you need to find out which app or widget is using the highest RAM and then Remove for Faster Performance.

Speed of your phone is totally depend on your Phone's RAM. It doesn't matter how much  GB of storage your Phone have. I hope you understand well. If anything else you want know then let me know.
