When I try to view the PDF file from the web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer and Firefox), I encountered error saying,

There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running please exit and try again.

It happens most of the time. Can anybody help me to avoid this error.

Resolve your problem by repairing your current installation or deleting all former versions of Adobe acrobat or reader, and then install it again.

To restore your current installation simply goes to “Help” then “Repair Acrobat Installation or Help” and choose “Repair Reader Application”

It’s  not recommended to install both the Acrobat and reader in your computer, it will result some complication in your software.

To delete all former versions of Adobe acrobat or reader, and then install it again, check first if you have the privileges of Administrator.

Go to “Start” then “Program” and choose “Programs and features”

Choose the Adobe Reader or Acrobat then tap the “Remove or uninstall program” options.

Simply reiterate the process for the entire version installed software or programs.

Now restart the computer and install again either of the Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
