Well I have once read an article about this. the chips and sensors that they use have electrical pulses that almost resonates with our brain's electrical pulses. Also the chips are made up of semi silicon that totally unreactive with human cells and also doesn’t effect with radiation. But still the problem was the bio arms don’t fully functions with the brain and its weight is comparatively more than that of a human arm. Thus it provides a lot of external problem like growth and also hormonal issues that scientist are still working out with. Any ways new probes directly connecting with our backbone is linked with the arms to avoid malfunction.
