Hi technical geeks, I encountered the following error while installing one of the applications on my PC running on Windows XP SP3.The error flashes to install .net framework 4.5 I tried downloading the software from Microsoft website but couldn’t find the suitable version for the same. What should I do now? Please help.

As of April 8, 2014, Microsoft has ended its support for Windows XP, which existed since 2001 which means no further updates or support would be available.
Windows XP doesn’t support .net framework versions higher than 3.5. You have to consider upgrading your version of Windows to 8.1 or newer. You can check whether your PC supports the same using Windows 8 Upgrade assistant from HERE.
If it doesn’t support, you might have to consider buying a new PC that supports Windows 8.1 or higher to install .net Framework 4.5. Hope it helps!
I don’t think you can install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 because it doesn’t support Windows XP. If you need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5, you need to upgrade your operating system to a much higher version. The lowest possible version this component supports is Windows Vista. So, I guess, you have to change your operating system from Windows XP to Windows Vista.
If you have a computer that has a supported operating system, download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5. It supports Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (64-bit only), and Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 both 32-bit and 64-bit.
If you can’t change your operating system, I don’t think you can install your application if it requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.
