I am facing an error when attaching an external device. It displays that the system of the computer does not have sufficient amount of information to configure and use this device. Contact the device manufacturer to get a firmware or BIOS update (error code 35).

The Error code 35 occurs due to the two reasons. Either the BIOS of the system or the drivers are out-of-date, corrupted or are not configured. You can solve the problem by:
a. In the search box of the system, search for misinfo32.
b. In the dialogue box, click on the summary option, and check the BIOS version.

c. Now check the latest BIOS version on the manufacturer website and download it.
d. Make sure to backup all the data and the current BIOS version before updating the BIOS. You should connect the system to an uninterruptible power source. Even a small fluctuation can corrupt the BIOS.
e. The system will restart automatically after the update.
