I am very interested in the current mouse technology, the mouse that uses wireless, because it does not use a cable. I wanted to ask whether enough to have a laptop that supports USB and Wi-Fi support? Essentially what I need to use a wireless mouse? If my laptop supports wireless mouse wireless keyboard also means support it?

Here are the ways to use a wireless mouse in your laptop: First is you have to ensure the specifications of your laptop, confirm that your laptops supports wireless technology for instance an infrared, blue tooth and 802.11 wireless connection, if not, you have to purchase a split wireless receiver. Now pull out the mouse and the battery compartment and attach new batteries in the compartment, note that you have to choose a battery that is compatible with the wireless mouse, now place the mouse in a proper position to keep away from stress on your wrist and fingers, if your laptop don’t have a built in wireless receiver out an external receiver in an suitable location, it should be at least 8 inches away from the laptop or objects to avoid intrusion. Install the driver that came with mouse wireless package, insert it to the CD drive and follow the specified instructions. Plug the receiver in the USB port, but if you do not have supplementary ports, just add an external USB for additional ports.

Simple:

Ensure the pc system is off

Place Mouse with batteries in ensuring mouse if turned off
Plug in the usb stick or wireless base again most likely usb.

Turn the system on.
Turn the mouse on

If the mouse is a blue tooth USB device it will most likely work instantly.

If it is usb base you need to press a connect button on the base and the mouse to connect the two together,

This is the basic outline.

I hope it helps.
