Hi. If you wish to learn how do I make my photos smaller, then there are many ways to follow such as-
1) Open the Windows live photo gallery
2) Amongst all the options such as edit, home, find and create, click on edit to begin resizing the image
3) Then click on the pictures which need to be resized
4) After the pictures have been selected, click on resize option
5) You can then select the size or the dimensions of the image by clicking on custom
6) After the size is selected, click on resize and save option
7) Create a new folder to save the new image
8) After the final selections have been made, click on resize and save option
9) Double-click the image to resize it in case of a single image and then follow the steps mentioned above
Another way of resizing the image can be with the help of the crop option available in ever software for editing.
Go to the home screen and click on crop option. Drag the pointer across the image cutting out regions which are not required. Then press enter.

If your photo is quite big and you want to make it smaller, you can scan it with a scanner and adjust its size using Adobe Photoshop. First, prepare your photo by scanning your picture with a scanner then crop the picture so that only the photo is displayed and the scanner’s cover is removed in the background.
You can go to a computer shop to scan and crop the picture. Once the picture is done, download Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1. Follow the instructions to download and unpack and then install it. Once installed, start Photoshop then open the file you scanned. Once the file is loaded, press ALT + I + I to change the size of the image.
In the Image Size dialog, under “Document Size”, set the width to 2 and the height will follow. When you are finished, click “OK”. Press CTRL + SHIFT + S to do a “Save As” then save the file with a new name. Now, just print the file. You can go to a photo studio to print the file.
The standard passport size photo is 2 x 2 inches in size with a background that is uniform, plain and white, and free of shadows.
