Team viewer icon win7 missing in system tray

Hello fellow Techyv members.  I have recently upgraded my TeamViewer from Version 6 to Version 8.  The TeamViewer server control icon has now gone missing.  How do I get the Team Viewer icon Win7 back in the system tray?  I'm on Windows 7 64 bit.  Thanks.

Hi,

In general, some programs when upgraded, remove options in a program so you need to be careful when installing to confirm that you want to keep your settings if one appears. Anyway, you should verify if you did that by clicking on extras and then options after which you check the “Close to tray menu” checkbox.
