I want to install the RSAT Windows server tools for Windows 7. I want to know whether Windows 7 support the software or not? What is the required system specification?
Only the Enterprise, Ultimate, or Professional editions of Windows 7 support Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT). Windows 7 comes ineither x86- or x64- edition. RSAT can run on both of these editions.
But it cannot be installed on a system that is running the Windows 2000 Server or Windows Server 2003 Administration Tools Pack. You will need to uninstall these from your computer and then proceed to the installation of RSAT Windows server tools for Windows 7.
