Hi, I’m using Matlab in my computer at my college for academic needs. I have been using it regularly for over some time. Recently, I’m getting this error when I try to start the program.

Since you are using Windows operating system, I will provide you with a simple solution and I hope it will help you to figure out the problem.
If this problem happens to occur on a client system, please check and make certain that the hostname on the SERVER line in the license.dat file on the client system is corresponding to the hostname on the SERVER border in your license.dat file on your license server.
If needed , you may rewrite the SERVER line in the client license.dat .
Not forgotten , the server’s hostname which is associated in the SERVER line is indexed in the C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file exclusively for Windows NT.
