Hello,

I tried to open the System Center Operations Manager 2007 console on the RMS server but it failed and displayed the following error message “Failed to connect to server”. How to solve this error? I really need your help to fix this error.

Hi Jeff,

                You can try to restart the SDK service or the complete RMS, make sure though that it will start correctly by looking into the event log. You can also verify that the SDK service and the SQL services are both started from RMS. You may also check your firewall settings and make sure that the ports can be accessed from here.
