Hi expert,

When I try to boot up my laptop, all the times I get these two messages, “Failed to create the database' and on the left corner of this window it says Fax Utility. ”

The system cannot find the file specified”and I also see ‘Event manager’ on the top of the window.

Fax utility, Event Manager.

Failed to create the database.

The system cannot find the file specified

Also I try to add the images of the error messages.

Please help me.

Thanks.

Hello Sharonfaviles!

To fix this error, reinstall the Fax Modem Software or the driver.

This is a software problem issue. You encounter this problem because you might have installed new software and conflicts to the services/resources used by other software.

You can also try to check the event log in Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Log and read the error messages.

Hi there

It is to do with your fax utility software. Did you recently install some other Software's on the machine.

This might happen when due to conflicting installation files of some other software.

What you might want to do is to uninstall and re-install the fax utility software.

Please make sure that no other programs are running while you install.

Reboot the system after install.

Hope that helps.
