I have added applications and tried to synchronize, but I got an error message. ‘The copy disk attempt has failed. It is not able to find the required disk’. I have un-installed all the applications but the message still comes. There was no problem until some days ago. Please help me to sort out this problem. Thanks in advance.

Try to remember what you did last time before this problem began to happen. There might be an application that is causing all the trouble that you might have recently installed. Try the following things.

  1. Reset your phone to factory defaults.
  2. Remove any previous versions of iTunes and download the latest one and install it.
  3. Instead of connecting it to front usb ports, use the back usb ports of the computer.
  4. Try changing the usb cable as it sometimes became the reason for this problem.
  5. Don't use any extension cables or something like that.

There maybe an application that is very huge and you are trying to synchronizing it with all other applications too at the same step.

  1. There are other steps too to fix this.
  2. connect your iphone to usb using usb cable. If iTunes pops up close it.
  3. After closing hold down CTRL+SHIFT together and then run iTunes, It will say that iTunes is running in safe mode. Click yes and then you will be able to see your device and synchronize. You might get that error again but keep on doing this and it will be gone.
