I am having issue with my itunes. How do you keep from having to manually having to set up the album artwork? Is there a setting so it will do this automatically?  I have hundred of albums that I need this done for. Would like to be able to have this synched with each new album.

If you want iTunes to automatically search the album art for you, here is how. First, make sure you are using the latest version to avoid encountering errors. Download and install iTunes 12.1 [32-bit]. This is for 32-bit Microsoft Windows only. It supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.

If you are using 64-bit Windows, don’t install this. Instead, download and install iTunes 12.1.0 [64-bit]. It supports 64-bit Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. Microsoft Windows XP 64-bit is not supported. Once updated, start iTunes then log in to your account. After signing in, make sure all your music library has been entered into iTunes.

After that, select Music tab and then Advanced tab. In Advanced dialog box, click or select Get Album Art Work. You will see the message “Getting Album Artwork” in the status bar. Wait until the process completes because it will depend on the size of your library for the process to complete.

Once it is finished, it will now display “Downloading Album Artwork” in the status bar. Again, the process will depend on the size of your library. Once it is finished, change your view to Cover Flow and you will notice that the albums with no artwork are now showing the album art.
