Hi!

I have this major problem that I need to be fix as soon as possible. I was trying to install Symantec Antivirus for my Macintosh. I was hoping this could finally be the Antivirus for my Mac, but I was really disappointed when this joy killer error came up. It says Symantec Antivirus Auto-Protect could not continue.

Of course I did what it told me to do. I tried restarting my mac and still it won’t go away. I reinstalled it, but nothing changed. I’m losing hope. I really need someone to help me with this.

I really need this installed on my Mac.

Dear Angela,

I have read out your problem what you have submitted properly. This is a common problem while you are installing Symantec, Norton Antivirus on your Mac. At first I’ll discus about the causes of it and then go to its solution. This will be easy for you.

When you are about to install it, your mac changes its installer to 10.6. Leopard did it in the same place but yours has not. Yours was moved to mac from the receipts. That’s why this problem arose.

Go to the following link and download the zip file: Unzip it and open the read me file. Read it carefully and do what it says. I think your problem will be solved.

Thank you!
