Hello,

I will help you make a .SWF open in Windows Media Player by default. The first thing you should do is go to your desktop and right click on the .SWF file, then you will have a short pull down menu with options.

Click on the option that says “Open with.”, then a new window will open stating the recommended programs, however you will ignore that and instead click browse at the bottom right corner. A new menu will appear where you can check your computer for Windows Media Player. At the bottom there will be an option called “File Name:” where you can search; there you will type “wmplayer” select it as your default and click “Open” to finalize.

Now, when you click on your .SWF file it will open in Windows Media Player, I hope this helped you find a solution to your problem.
