I just want to ask what is the best or most reliable version of iphone Software Developmental Kit (sdk)? My friend and I planning to make an application enabling to read and edit the data in Exchangeable Image File format (exif).

Hello Markenz31,

SDK version, build, content (includes functions, frameworks, programming interfaces, protocol suits etc), licensing, restrictions and alternatives are important facts to consider regarding your question and of course regarding your idea.

However, for your question, i may suggest iOS 6.0 Final version as the answer. Full version with the Xcode version 4.5. This should be the SDK that you might use for your project.

Hopoe this info will be helpful. Good luck!

“EXIF” stands for “Exchangeable Image Format.” It is a set of data attached to every image you take. The majority of Smartphones and cameras nowadays include basic parameters like for example the mode the photo was taken, aperture data, the shutter speed, ISO, and there are times even the location of the photograph.

If you want to remove these data from your photo using your iPhone, you can download one of the following apps on the Apple App Store:

Both apps allow you to edit and remove the EXIF data from photos but this feature is not free. Both apps are free but you need to pay to unlock the premium features. To remove the EXIF data, tap the gallery icon on the bottom left then select the picture you want to edit the EXIF data.

Next, tap “Metadata” then select “Remove” or “Edit.” To view the EXIF data, tap the different icons below the image.
