Hi,

I have recently switched from firefox to opera. Something that I am struggling with is the use of Notscript in opera. I would really appreciate if anyone tells me about a good Notscript for opera.

Hi Mamujtaba,

I think Noscript is one of the most useful add-ons in Mozilla Firefox. Here is two choices for you to choose from that will provide you with the same functionality:

1) NotScripts: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/notscripts/

It provides Noscript like functionality with a very easy user interface. It blocks both third party scripts and inline scripts.

It can be configured to block all scripts, allow it all, or block all with some exceptions. However the add-on requires Opera 11.10 or up for it to work.

2) BlockIt: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=241208

This tool that was released on the opera forums by its developer will also provide you with the same functionality and also can be used for older version of Opera.
