All listed jobs include their respective budget. When applying, always bid for a not so high rate. If you propose a rate that is almost as high as the project’s budget then don’t expect to be hired. Most of the employers there like contractors that bids low to average rate.

In the cover letter, compose your message in straight-forward manner. Introduce yourself accordingly together with the skills you know as well as the number of years of your experience. The very important thing that you shouldn’t do when writing the cover letter, don’t include any personal information like mobile number, email address, and others because this violates the site.

And the site doesn’t guarantee your payment in cases like you agreed to work and accept the payment directly to your PayPal account rather than from the site. The employer should always be the one sending the payment to oDesk and oDesk will be the one sending you your money.

If you expect a good feedback from the employer, always be accurate in your job, submit it on time, and always inform the employer if there will be delays in the submission and tell the reason.
