INSTALLING SR 1 (2000) VIA INTERNET

Firstly, you will uninstall Access Runtime in programs, then restart you’re PC, and you can set-up the Microsoft SR1. But you should first have this: you must have Office 2000. Now, you can install it by CD or connection.

Here’s how it will show when you use a connection: any website you prefer will have a display of DOWNLOAD. Click that and you will see a box that if you want to save or open that.

You must choose OPEN. Then, it will start to process now and wait for minutes or hours. After you have been finished downloading, you can see their instruction. When you already follow it and you are asked to have the original media, just does it.

Finally, if it is done then restart your PC if it is required to do so.

INSTALLING SP3 (2000) VIA INTERNET

As I have mentioned earlier, if you already have SR 1 then you can install this. Follow these steps: you search for a site to download this program then DOWNLOAD and SAVE it. Double-click the exe file and click YES if you are about to have its update. If you are asked to have the CD (office 2000) insert it, if said and you must have verification or notice that it was successful then click OK.

IS IT NEEDED TO USE AD?

Active Directory (AD) is used for a solution in Microsoft’s directory. It provides Kerberos and LDAP. Window computers used AD for it provides a certain quality. It has a safety measures and rule management. Most especially, the ability of it to place multiple copy servers in a multi-master configuration. So It is helpful
