In order to compute a fixed annuity’s present value in Excel, you need to follow the given steps-

  1. Enter the value of interest rate in A1
  2. Enter no. of periods in A2
  3. Then enter payment amount in the cell A3
  4. Enter the formula =PV(A1,A2,A3) in cell B1

This will give you the desired value.
