If you’re looking for a program that will allow you or that can open PDF files, try using Foxit Reader. The latest version supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. For Mac, it supports OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion until 10.11 El Capitan. It requires 1.3 GHz or faster processor, 512 MB RAM, 1 GB free hard drive space, and 1024 x 768 screen resolution.

Windows XP and Windows Vista are no longer officially supported and you will not be able to download it from its official website if you are still using either of these two operating systems. In this case, download it from Foxit Reader on FileHippo.

Though both operating systems are no longer supported, the latest version, Foxit Reader 8.1.1.1115, still works on Windows XP and probably in Windows Vista as well. For Microsoft Office integration, Foxit Reader requires Microsoft Office 2007 or higher. And also, one can never forget the ever popular Adobe Acrobat Reader which is now available as Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

It supports Windows XP Service Pack 2 64-bit only, Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10. Just select your operating system from the dropdown list.
