If you need to create discounts on your products, try following these instructions. To create discount on products, you need first to create the level of discount you want to use. Once it is created, it will be used again on some other offers. Next, login to VirtueMart. After this, go to Administration Panel, Products, and then Add Product Discount.
Enter the value for your discount and then click on either the Total or the Percentage button. The start and end dates are optional. Save what you did. After this, navigate to the product where you want to add the discount to by clicking Administration Panel > List Products > Click Product.
