Step Number Appear on the First Page

How can I manage to make the step number appear on the first page and also on the subsequent ones, and also to change automatically if a step is being added in-between others? I have to specify that each instruction is on a separate row of the table, but sometimes there are several instructions that need to contain the same step number.

Hi John,

                I wish it’s the page number you are talking about and with a document writer, however here is a simple step you can try:

  1. ON your Microsoft word, choose Insert and then choose Page number.
  2. After that you will asked to specify the location of the page number

For OpenOffice.org:

  1. Adding a page number will only work on where the cursor is positioned at the moment.
  2. However you can have the header or the footer for adding pages.
