Starting OneNote that is not on a full screen mode

Is there a way to start OneNote that is not on a full screen mode?  I use WIN+N to start my OneNote.  If I cannot do this, could I change the F11 key so that it would be more convenient for me to start with a full screen and switch out of it in the same key?

Thank you!

To start OneNote that is not on a full screen mode, first you should always set-up your OneNote window in a restore down screen before closing it. To set-up just click maximize/restore down button at the upper right corner of your screen. It allows your window to maximize or to restore down by just clicking it once. Or just use this shortcut keys to maximize & restore down your window.

Alt + Spacebar + X = Maximize

 Alt + Spacebar + R = Restore

F11 is only use to open Note in a full page screen that is set-up only by your window. It doesn’t allow you to restore down/maximize  your screen. You can use ALT+TAB for easily switch/transfer to other open program /window your using or by just simply exit on OneNote window.
