I need to customize the sound files related to Lotus Notes, Please do let me know about the step by step process of doing the same.

Sound files related to Lotus Notes

Hi,

The steps given below are applicable to Windows as well as Mac users

  1. Launch Lotus Notes
  2. Click File-> Preferences (Mac users can click on Lotus Notes- Preferences)
  3. Click "+" icon next to Mail
  4. Click on "Send and Receiving"
  5. Click on "Play a Sound"
  6. Click on "Browse" to select the sound file

Note: Lotus Notes only lists wav files stored in "C:WindowsMedia". If you want any particular sound file as an alert for incoming mail notification. Copy the sound file to "C:WindowsMedia" folder.
