Hello!

You have to specify domain accounts as domainuser. If in the local security policy, the “Sharing and security model for local accounts” is set to “Classic – local users authenticate as themselves”, you can use the account on the client to access the server provided a local user with the same credentials exists on the server.

But you cannot map a local account to a domain account. Again, you need a local account on the server with the same credentials as the admin-account on the client but this account needs only read access to the share server.

Hey Michel,

In Sophos Enterprise Console the admin has restricted user rights so that intruders cannot enter in their accounts and only admin can enter in to that.

Therefore, you will not be able to change user rights unless you have admin rights or password to change it.

What you can do is –

1. If you have another PC try to shift/install Sophos Enterprise Console there.

2. Check if that works.
