Guys,

please help me on this one. Sony Video Capture thinks that the application is used by another user, or another application. That’s why it keeps on saying “The device USB2.0 Grabber could not be opened”.

Any idea how to get past this?

From the task manager to close all other applications that are using Sony Video Capture. If the problem persist try safely remove the hardware and reconnecting that. Most of the port problem is the com port problem. Free up any unused com port from device manager>>ports (COM & LPTs)
