Does any of you guys knows if Sony have some problem with their servers? I cannot run the updater because of this error. It has been a long time since I last updated my apps on smartphone.

I don’t see this as an issue because it is only normal for a handset to still not have a software update due to the fact that sometimes it is or the software update is based on the handset model because of proprietary operating system. Your phone software will automatically alert you of new software or firmware update once you connect your handset to your computer and opening the application.
If you don’t see an update or it says that it doesn’t have an available software update for your device, try some other time. Since you are using PC Companion from Sony, this software includes the Sony Xperia Transfer tool. It is a utility that you can use to transfer the contents of your old handset to your new Sony Xperia Smartphone.
The Sony PC Companion software requires Windows XP Service Pack 3 x86 only, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1 both x86 and x64. This program doesn’t work on Windows RT. If you wish to download it again, visit Sony PC Companion. If you are a Mac user, you can use Sony Bridge for Mac instead.
