Sony was known to be the camera manufacturer for other companies.They believed that the feature of  Nikon D800 is a feature from Sony as well as the camera of iPhone 4S and more.
Is the coming iPhone 5 also has the camera components from Sony?

Yes it is true that there have been some rumors that the new upcoming iphone 5 will include a 13 megapixel camera produced by Sony. Since the new iphone model will need to be thinner than its predecessor it will need to incorporate smaller parts in order to function at an optimum level. The current selection of camera modules for smart phones have not been shrinking as rapidly as other parts so it will be difficult for Apple to deliver a quality shooter inside its next gen device. Apparently Sony is working on something to solve the issue easily. Sony is apparently producing a CMOS image sensor that could be a great fit for the thinner phone.
