My greetings to all,

I am sharing here and asking for some help on my problem with PowerPoint, I was assigned to edit  a presentation file made through PowerPoint.

When I want to change  and add some its contents I met an error, an error message box appeared that says some of your fonts cannot be saved with the presentation.

Some of your fonts cannot be saved with the presentation

I don't know the reason why I got such error, what I only did is to change some fonts, and add some text in it. I already did this for so many times.

Please share some comments on this issue.

Thanks.

If you are going to use PowerPoint 2003, you will have to follow these instructions:

  • First initiate the presentation with the program.
  • Go to File, Save As and then give a brand new name. You will then observe a message which will warn you against saving the type of fonts; make sure to press Cancel.
  • Next you must choose a different font that is on the two computers already.
  • Than save the presentation again and you should be fine.

If you are using PowerPoint 2007 follow these instructions:

  • Start the presentation up.
  • Go to the Office Button, and then click options. You will then locate a tab which shows save and then the option of {embed fonts in the file}, and then finally save the new presentation.

You may save the font of your presentation in PowerPoint through looking for “Embed True Type Fonts”…

To do this you have to choose from the File Menu – Click “Save As” if the presentation was already saved.

Enter a new filename for your presentation.

Review the warning message that will prompt. Then, select by ticking the “Embed True Type Fonts”.
That’s it! You may now have your desired changes on the font that you placed in your presentation.
