Hi, I am using Win XP and having a Microsoft Installer Error on installing Microsoft Office. Whenever I try to install it says that Windows installer service could not be accessed.
Hi, the Windows Installer Error occurs because the Windows Installer service files may be corrupted or missing. To resolve this problem, you may use MSConfig tool to confirm that the installer services are running. Go to start and select run. Then on the panel type MSConfig and click on ok. Click on the services panel and click the checkbox beside the Windows Installer and then press ok. Now restart your computer. Now install Microsoft Office again.
