To convert ide to scsi, follow steps given below-
- You need to find the data store path where the virtual machine resides
- Open the primary disk i.e. .vmdk
- Locate ddb.adaptertype=”ide”
- Instead of ide type lsilogic or buslogic based on your needs
- Save the file and then in the client go to edit settings and remove ide disk
- Then add disk again by finding it’s location and adding it.
