Hi,

I am getting this error “Could not obtain a license for SolidWorks Standard” after I upgraded my machine to Microsoft server 2012. I was in the assumption that the licensing was not upto date and I tried updating the license manager with no luck. I looked at the license borrowing table of the license manager to find a couple of licenses there. Still wondering why this is failing. Can anybody here help me on this? Help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Todd,
The error is because the server is not updated with the latest version of Solid Works.

2) Run the SNL manager and stop the running services
3) Click 'Modify' button, transfer the license back to the Solid Works
