Hi,

When I try to setup Nero 7, I find the following error message:

The software you are installing has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatibility with windows XP. This software will not be installed. Contact your system administrator.

Can anyone assist me with this?

Nero 7 is not compatible with windows 7 because of it was not tested to meet all of the technical requirements, I’m also using windows 7 and I doubt using Nero 7 so I installed Nero 9 on my laptop.

It’s more compatible on windows 7 and also Nero 10 and 11 is suitable for windows 7 compatibility.

Your system administrator has disabled the possibility to install drivers that are not signed and have not passed the logo testing. If only you have access to the PC and therefore you are the "system administrator" then you only need to follow these simple steps to make it work:

  1. Right-click My Computer
  2. Click Properties
  3. Click the Hardware tab
  4. Click Driver Signing under Drivers section
    System properties
  5. Click Ignore – Install the software anyway and don’t ask for my approval.Driver signing options

Now the installation should work flawlessly. I hope this helps.
