Since our mobile phones are getting advanced and advanced, doing accidental mistakes like unknowingly deleting a contact from your phone’s contacts list can easily happen with just a simple press of a button or a slight tap on the screen. In that instance, the record is deleted in an instant. I’m not sure if it’s the same but in iPhone, deleted contacts don’t mean that it is completely deleted or permanently erased. You still have a hope because of the backups you created.

If this problem happens and you haven’t synchronized your handset with your computer yet, there is still a chance of recovering the deleted contacts using iTunes. Here’s how you can do it:

• Connect your iPhone to your computer and then open iTunes.
• In the Devices column located on the left of the window, right-click on the iPhone icon and then select “Restore From Backup”.
• Click on the drop-down menu and then select one from the available backup versions.
• Next, click Restore. This will now restore any of the contacts you have accidentally deleted since the last time you synchronized your Smartphone.

After that, you may now remove your Smartphone from your computer and then check the deleted contacts if they were restored.
