Hi Gurus,
I was installing software in my PC when I got this error message below.Â
When I pressed the OK button the installation ended abruptly.Â
I am not sure if it’s a registry – related problem as one website said.Â
Please help me on how to get rid of this problem and successfully install the software.Â

Hello Abigail Rj,
 Try to reinstall your software and if this problem occurred again you need to find a new one. This might be because your software has been damage or not fully downloaded and there is something missing.
If you have a friend with same installer then try to ask him so you can do the less hard work than downloading it again.
Try to double check also if there is no message appear not other than that, be sure you have it fully downloaded.
Try to use CCleaner too to clean up all unused files and registry cleaning. It might be conflict for some instance that already been in registry with the same applications.

I think it is file related, some files or plugins or updates is missing in your operating system that it needs to complete the installation. I suggest that you perform an update of your current operating system, in your case it is XP so turn on automatic updates. If it is not a genuine software then don't even think about it, you will face more problems once this operating system is found out as a fake one.
If the update process did not work. Download a later or previous version of the software that you are trying to install, provided that it is supported by the operating system that you have.
