Hello guys,

I recently bought a desktop computer (used) with a Viglen motherboard. After installing the window, I couldn't find the drivers on the internet because I was unable to locate the model of my PC's motherboard. Can you please tell me that is there any software which can show us the information of the motherboard including name and model?

Hi Aijaz,

You can make use of CPU-Z to find out detailed information regarding your PC's hardware, not just the brand and model of the motherboard, but any graphics card as well, in case you need drivers for those too. You can download CPU-Z via this URL: https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html. Just click the download link in the panel on the right side, labelled "1.58 setup, English".

After installing CPU-Z, run it. The first tab shows you detailed information regarding your CPU, the second about your cache. The motherboard information you need will be on the third tab. Fourth and fifth tabs will show you detailed information regarding your RAM, and sixth tab about your graphics.

I hope you this will be able to find all the information you need to get your drivers.

Regards,
Kale

Hi,

I found a site which I think it can help you a lot. Here it is:

https://www.viglen.co.uk/viglen/support/Ftp/motherboards.aspx/?GUID=.

Choose which model you have, click it and download it. Some files are on .Zip so, you still have to extract it. Make sure you successfully installed your Operating System before installing the drivers.

I hope this would help you a lot.

If you bought a used computer with a Viglen motherboard, you can always find the model number including the website of its manufacturer printed on the motherboard itself. Shut down your computer and open the CPU case. Check the prints on the motherboard, you should find the model number in there like without quotes “Viglen Vig730M” or just “Vig730M”.

Once you located the model number, take note of the model number then head down to Viglen Limited Support Downloads/Drivers Motherboards and look for your motherboard. Once you located your motherboard, download the complete drivers set and save them on your computer so that next time if you need to install them again, you no longer need to download them because they are already on your hard drive.

Also, make sure to download the BIOS update so you can update your motherboard’s BIOS.
