I have a HTC Trophy phone that i need to use to take nice screenshots which i will use on my phone that is a smartphone running on windows operating system. Is there a tool or software i can use for HTC Trophy to take screenshot?

Due to Microsoft Windows Phone restrictions, there is no screen capture app is there for Windows Phone 7. Microsoft has not written any API for that. If you are running Windows Phone 8, then it is possible. But you can take screen shot via PC. It will require some work, but it will do the work.

At present there is no 3rd party software will let you take screenshots of your HTC Trophy as it runs on Windows. However, if you install an Android Custom ROM on your phone you will be able to use it to take screenshots. For a detailed discussion please visit the xda developers' page.

That’s right. If your phone is running on Windows Phone 8, the only thing you need to do to take a screenshot on your phone is to press and hold on the “Start” and “Power” buttons. The screenshot is saved to the “Screenshots” album in the Photos Hub.
Unfortunately, for phones with Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 7.5, there is no way to take screenshots without first unlocking the phone with developer tools.
