Can you specify which version of .net is currently installed? I would request you to download the latest version of .net that is 4.5 sometimes the latest software’s are compatible with latest version of .net, It would be better if you see the required from the site smart audio II and see which version they want if it is the latest version then there is no problem at all, download the latest version and install it from HERE

Hello,

To fix your problem you will need to uninstall Smart Audio II and install .Net Framework 3 and later. Smart Audio II doesn't seem to work even if you install the correct .Net Framework after the application is already installed. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Uninstall Smart Audio II.
  2. Restart your Computer.
  3. Download .Net Framework 3+.
  4. Install .Net Framework.
  5. Restart your Computer.
  6. Install Smart Audio II.

After following these steps you should be ok and everything should be running smoothly.

There’s nothing wrong with your sound card driver. It’s just that the required component is not yet installed. You just need to install the required Microsoft .NET Framework and the sound card software should work properly. Because you didn’t mention what version is required, here are several you can download:

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2 Service Pack 2 – it supports Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. If you have a higher operating system, try installing it. But if it doesn’t install, your platform is not supported.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3 – it supports Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. If you have a higher operating system, try installing it. But if it doesn’t install, your platform is not supported.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3 Service Pack 1 – it supports Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. If you have a higher operating system, try installing it. But if it doesn’t install, your platform is not supported.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 – it supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Server 2008. If you have a higher operating system, try installing it. But if it doesn’t install, your platform is not supported.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4 – it supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista Service Pack 1, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2. If you have a higher operating system, try installing it. But if it doesn’t install, your platform is not supported.
