Hi there,

I'm having a problem using my safari browser. Whenever, I open the Google website and search for something especially images, an error slow script etc. appears and sometimes, all my works in safari are stopped and force closed automatically!
Can you help me fix this?

The error:
Slow Script
Safari is no longer responding because of a script on the webpage "iGoogle"(http://partnerpage.google.com/denverboulder.com?tab=mS).  Do you want to stop running the script, or let it continue ?
Stop                      Continue

Thanks and God bless.
regards, chuck harrison

Safari, like other internet browsers such as Firefox and IE, which uses a script engine finishing time to find out when can a script becomes long-running. By default, the effecting timeout will turn around about 5-20 seconds. When the error points to the message box, it implies that the threshold has already been reached.

Though disabling the script timer would just pretense the problem, yet you can try the following: First is to click the Safari Debug Menu, once activated, uncheck the menu bar. Enable Runaway JavaScript Timer" and "Disable Runaway JavaScript Timer" (Safari 4+). However, if you cannot access the debug menu, you can do the following steps: Try Quitting Safari, then in the utilities folder open the Terminal. apps, Press "return", wait and see till your Mac's name appears as prompt command.

If it already appears, then it's done so quit Terminal. Lastly, resume Safari then Debug and try the follow the idea above.
